I'm Chef Meaw, and believe it or not, cooking wasn't always my passion. When I was just 10 years old, I dreaded the heat of the stove and the sting of hot oil splashing on my arms in my mother’s kitchen in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Feeding a family of eight was no small feat, and I was a reluctant helper at first.
But then something changed. I found myself addicted to the satisfaction of cooking for others, of seeing their appreciation as they enjoyed my meals. Despite the early challenges and many burnt dishes, my family's praise fueled my determination.
I've come a long way since those days. From learning the ropes in roadside food stalls on the outskirts of Yaowarat to earning respect in Bangkok's bustling kitchen scenes, I've worn many hats—from street food chef to handling fine dining, catered events, and even weddings. Yet, my heart has always belonged to the food of my homeland, Thailand.
For me, it's all about using the best ingredients, the freshest produce, and cooking with passion. Thai food is not just about flavors; it's about the heart and soul you put into every dish.
I've learned that there's always something new to learn and that every idea can help you grow. Now, I'm excited to share my culinary journey with you, right in your own home.
While my family would love to taste my cooking again, I'm fully dedicated to bringing my skills and flavors to your table.
